The art of search engine ranking to generate Google results

To generate high rankings at search engines such as Google their are a number of area's that should be addressed to ensure that you are generating the results that you are after. Below I have listed some techniques and area's that should be addressed for Google seo and other search engines alike.

 

1. Ensure that your website is search engine friendly, their are a number of area's that should be address for example your page titles <title> on each page of your website should be unique and be keyword dense. If all your page titles are the same or just read, home, contact us, products and services this tells Google and other search engines very little about what that particular page is about. For example if one of your products page is on welding gloves, the page title should be something like "See our great range of welding gloves at discount prices". It is also important that your website is key word rich to ensure best possible Google seo and search engine ranking. If for example you sell welding gloves yet the words welding and gloves has only been mentioned 4 or 5 times throughout your website yet a competitor has this in their website 30 or 40 times they will be deemed to be more relevant for these key words

 

2. External content: It is important to continually link your website into online directories and to place a key word rich description in these directories. Google and other search engines will see the links that point back from other websites and directories and they will also see the content that you have placed within this. For example if you have 10 backlinks from other websites with a short description that mentions the services and products that your business provides Google will see this and you will notice that your search engine rankings will also slowly start to go up the list in the Google and other online results.

 

The art of search engine ranking and optimization has no real black magic behind it. It is a matter of ensuring your website is laid out correctly and that you have as much key word written content as possible. Once this has been done it is important to focus on back linking to other online directories as this will affect your page rank and your credibility with search engines such as Google in the end affecting where you appear in the search results.
